Todos los países de la UE han transpuesto la [Directiva 2019/1937](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32019L1937) a su Derecho nacional, pero los detalles operativos difieren según el país: umbral del sector privado, alcance del sector público, canales compartidos, autoridad externa de denuncia y autoridad de protección de datos. También se incluye Moldavia, país candidato a la adhesión a la UE: su Legea 165/2023 está parcialmente alineada con la Directiva de cara a la adhesión, sin ser una transposición de la misma.
