Business development representative #
- Location: Remote, within the EU
- Type: Contract, part-time
- Compensation: Base for an initial ramp period, plus uncapped, results-based commission
EU Directive 2019/1937 requires every organization with 50+ employees to operate a confidential internal reporting channel. Most still have none. EthicsPortal is that channel, built and operating. The job is to put it in front of the companies that are legally required to have it.
What you would do #
- Book meetings. Reach compliance officers, HR and legal leads, and managing directors at in-scope companies by email, phone, and LinkedIn. We give you a list of real targets with verified contacts. This is the main work.
- Build partnerships. Get compliance consultants, accountants, and law firms to offer EthicsPortal to their clients. One good partner brings many customers, so this is the highest-value work.
- Co-sell. The founder joins every customer meeting for product and pricing and helps close. You lead in your local language.
- Report what you learn. A clear “no” with its reason is worth as much as a “yes.”
We measure results, not hours. You decide where and when you work.
What we are looking for #
- Fluent in your market’s business language, plus working English.
- Based in the EU market you would sell into.
- Able to reach the right person, book the meeting, and lead the conversation.
- Comfortable talking to owners and senior managers about a legal obligation.
Sales experience is a plus, not a requirement. You do not need to be a finished closer on day one. We assess every applicant on the same job-related criteria and welcome applicants from any background.
Compensation #
- Base during a short, paid initial period.
- Activity payments for qualified meetings and a bounty per partner you activate.
- Uncapped commission on every customer you bring in, paid as long as they stay.
- We share the specific pay range before the first interview, and we never ask what you earned before.
